Ha, yeah, the one I have is the Black Saint and Sinner Lady from that series (one of my favorite albums). I think it was listed for $60 and I got it in a 40 off sale on Center Stage

Yeah, same. WLP was specifically delivered to promote the album (finished product), whereas a test pressing was meant to look for issues. I don’t really go out of my way to grab either though. I think I have only one test pressing and maybe a dozen or so WLPs.

There’s also the theory that it could be one of the best sounding copies of an album because it’s pressed from a fresh stamper. That’s probably more of a thing back in the day when they were pressing massive numbers. But yeah, modern day I’m sure it’s just the limited nature. There’s also the...
