Definitely old school looks and designs. In the ‘50s British folks, so I’ve read, when talking about Hifi speakers of any make didn’t call them speakers they called them Tannoys, so ubiquitous the brand was. They do have a special sound all their own.

Just deleted pictures of the two models I listened to a week ago. Don’t remember which ones they were.

The Tannoys sound great, I’ve heard them, and they are timeless.

Is that how Luxman describes this amp in its advertising, as class AB?

My question, poorly posited, was in regards to the class A spec. So many variables in spec amp power but, in this case to me, class A rating shows the real guts of an amplifier advertised as class A.

12” singles sound so good - most of the time. This one sounds fantastic.
