Fantastic news! I gave the OJC a shot and found it to be less enjoyable than the CD quality stream. The top end was very brash. With this, Neil, and the Wilco Whole Love box, I think I may be back in on RSD this year.

Go with a higher impedance headphone if your headamp allows it. 32ohm is about standard for your portable devices. I've got an 80ohm pair of Beyer DT770's and a 250ohm pair of 990's. Higher the impedance, the more it's gonna take to drive, but when it's a good match of amp/headphones, boy is it...

I think our ears can definitely be more susceptible to certain imperfections of the medium, too - IGD, pitch variance, etc (both 😵‍💫) and it can be helpful to minimize whatever that is in your setup. Not to be a "throw money at the problem" solution, but if you're digging the Hana sound profile...

I have two. Lush Life is absolutely fan f'n tastic. In the top 5, maybe 3 best sounding records I own. Also have Relaxin', it's very good, but there are so many pressings of it, can't say if it's the best, but I do really enjoy it. Bernie's kinda relaxed EQ approach really shines.

uDiscover took almost a month, but they ended up refunding me completely for a couple of BN Classics with pressing defects, told me to keep them!
