Favorite McCoy hands down is The Real McCoy. This is a 5 star LP if there ever was one! Elvin Jones, Ron Carter, Joe Henderson. OMFG! These guys smoke through the whole LP! Listening now. You know, I named my first dog Tyner after this man.

I think about this all the freakin' time! First in the 90s there was the Connoisseur series (and the digital CD). Then we have Mobile Fidelity and MM33. Then MM45. Now SRX. Each of these iterations moving to a better technology, with better audio resolution and listener experience. HOWEVER...

I think one arguable difference is that AP is Stereo and SRX is Mono. I could be wrong, but I think that's how they were pressed.
