Not surprised, their support has not been helpful in the past for issues I had. I had problems with defects in a couple of the Miles Davis releases, they were basically like "there's always a chance of defects when pressing large quantities of vinyl. You got a bad one. Thanks for playing".

Stereo box is not worth it unless you want to get it for aesthetic purposes. From a sound quality standpoint the BC13 blue box is way better, and also a little cheaper. Also the quality of the 2012 Stereo box depends on which pressing. The EU one is better since it was pressed at Optimal...

I think there's only one pressing for EU and US, they probably just had a couple bad batches.

I agree the extras make the box a worthy purchase. Although I went through 5 copies and the album disc had occasional surface noise on all of them, and disc 2 was fine. Not sure if the single LP version is any different.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying a copy of LIBN when Amazon was trying to get rid of them. Think it got to $20 or so at one point. Sigh Cheapest I've seen one recently is $100

Agree on both. This is one of my fav albums so I had to have both just for the hell of it, but if I just needed to get one I'd go with the Rocktober since it costs less and I don't have to get up 3 times to play it lol
