Can anyone comment on the quality of the Ellington/Hodges Back to Back AP? I see it's on sale at AS for $35. I have an original and it sounds fantastic, but its like a low VG so has areas with noise, so been lookin to upgrade. Woulda been nice if it was part of the $25 sale a few weeks ago...

I'm with ya, the well has really run dry. The large majority of the available stuff will probably never move since they are either already owned by everyone, or they're just straight up terrible. I might swap for Jim Sullivan but it's not really something I had wanted in my collection.

The vinyl looks nice. I confirmed with VMP that the only difference is the color and the foil stamp. Debating whether to just get the normal release for half the price (its about $15 with the current discount on BN)

The Ken Burns series is so freakin good. I've probably rewatched it like 5 times since I first saw it in a college class. They fit a ton of history into those episodes, felt like they coulda done 100 episodes and still not covered everything.

Finally got to spin Blazing Arrow, it sounds amazing. I don't really care much about color but the records look great and packaging is very nice. I wish every release was a gatefold!

The stereo AP was actually from a digital master, you can view the specifics on the AP site. Not that it matters, I prefer the Stereo over the AAA mono.
