If that falls through let me know, the lid on my StudioDeck was cracked when I bought it.

It's a cool look, but I'm just not into "decorated" turntables, be it the Beatles, Union Jack, The Peanuts, etc... I'm even less excited about "sponsored" or "advertised" stuff, like Harley Davidson F150's. That said, anyone with a UltraDeck should upgrade to one of these NOW. To fund it, put...

I have plenty of room on top of the rack to adjust and play records. The mantle juts out over the back of the table maybe 2". The only time it interferes with anything is removing/replacing the dust cover. It's a delicate operation of not scratching the cover on top or bumping the tonearm weight...

Got a Geo Disc over the weekend. Holy moly, what a difference. When I bought my SD the previous owner gave me a printed protractor. I vaguely recall him saying it was the only one he found to work with the SD. Well the overhang difference between the two was about 1/4" different, the Geo Disc...

Here's my .02 review. The band is on fire, I saw them live twice on that tour. The recording absolutely sucks. Again, I got through side one and shelved it. Look for a digital file and save your money. And I'll be damned, the Amazon app on my wife's ipad worked but wouldn't work on my phone...

I've got a copy, listened to the first side and never put it on again. Can't recall why. Adding it to the queue for this evening.

I been away for awhile and have some catching up to do. Recently bought some new speakers and listening a lot more. Im sure you guys know when you add in something new, things can go sideways real quick. I've been trying to dial in speaker placement, move them in, out toe in, toe out, wider...

The crashing down is likely the key, I know mine did crash down but didn't think anything of it at the time. I have a guess on how Mofi incorporates the VTA, but I'd love to see a service diagram/exploded view to better understand how it operates. One of the other tables I have is a Dual 721...

Sounds exactly like the issue I had, were you having issues getting the arm to balance? From an email from Mofi: Tonearm was not at the factory set vertical height and the Headshell was tilted a few degrees out of factory alignment and cracked. I have not tinkered with VTA since I got my table...

I've done refurbs and open box from MD and never had an issue. Most stuff you'd be hard pressed to tell they weren't brand new. As for VPI, they'll never see a penny from me. I had a bad experience with them a few years back and the grudge is still there. Compared to my experience with Mofi...

Ed, Wondering your thoughts on the AT OC9XEN. Few years ago I heard a OC9/II at a friend's house. Next day I ordered a OC9/III and have since bought another before they all disappeared. I was intrigued by the newer OC9's but didn't want to chance wrecking my setup plus all the new options were...

Let's just say I have more than 1 of these paper versions. Each has a custom made hole slightly not in the same spot. The previous owner of my table gave me one with the table, he claims it was the only one he found that worked. I made copies but it was a royal pain getting the hole correct. I'm...

I'm feeling very inadequate with my photo paper print out protractor.

I'm pretty sure once I get the table moved back downstairs it will become an easier habit. Right now I have the table in a converted armoire in the living room. The shelf is about 5' off the ground above the TV. I have a three yr old boy, so it's up high and out reach. Also, up here I usually...

I'm back again, this time after a covid outbreak. So far, 2021 isn't any better than 2020. Anyhow, I finally got the AT Safety Raiser (AT6006R) installed. I've got large fingers and that didn't help. It's a bit difficult to line up, hold and test but not impossible. For my Studio Deck I didn't...

This may seem like a newb or weird question...what do you guys do with your dust cover while using your table? I ask because this is really the first table I've owned that is designed to be used without the cover. 90% of the tables I've owned were Duals. They have notoriously fragile dustcovers...

While the Q up is the economical choice, the AT 6006R was my choice. It was the only tonearm lifter I could find a ic of on a Mofi, it looks better, and it seems to be much smoother in operation than others I looked into. It should arrive in a couple days and I'll be sure to share how it works...

I'm back! About 10 pages or so ago I had to send my Studio Deck back to Mofi. Got it back two weeks ago and it sat in the box in the middle of the floor begging for attention. Finally, set it up today and played two sides of a record. It was a looooong wait, but I think it was worth it. I've got...
