It's interesting. Very old school in that it doesn't hold your hand, but because of that it can be frustrating, not in a "hard" way, but in a "what do I do next?" kinda way. I thought it was pretty cool, but I still haven't beaten it.
I love of The Rings of Power but I have two criticisms. The four different story-lines are too much. I know they have a lot of story to tell with a lot of moving parts, but I find myself excited about some some parts and just hoping other parts end soon so we can get back to the parts I care...

Picked up Half Life 2 VR Mod. It's really well done, but I'm not familiar enough with moving around in VR to not get incredibly motion sick while playing.
My wife, who is a huge fan of the books, said it was better than the movie attempt, but still wasn't happy with it. But you can say that about most book to movie/show adaptations. Lord of the Rings and The Expanse being major outliers.
