Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

It probably exists for cs guys to create replacement orders, but that's only my guess.

    Record Store Day 2023

There were some Arlie EPs in both shops I visited in Seoul. I passed as I have the VMP version, but a different cover had me confused at first.

    Record Store Day 2023

I guess I am done shopping after coming out of the second store with Stevie Nicks, Jonathan Richman, and the Nuggets box. 7 titles for close to 5 hundred bucks is nuts, but that's what it's like today, I guess.

    Record Store Day 2023

Just came out of a participating store here in Seoul with 4 items: Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, and Van Halen. By the time I got there, they were out of Elvis and the Cure. On to the next store I go.

    Record Store Day 2023

Just popped into a local store and got this one, which has somehow been available here in South Korea since last week. Price - around 36 USD

    Definitive Audiophile pressings

I picked up my copy from Amazon Italy upon receiving a deal alert from Super Deluxe Edition in January 2016. The cost including shipping was 167 euro. It was a great deal, but that also put me on the completist path for these Bowie box sets. ;)

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

Maybe JB is not political enough for the storfster.

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Is there another Sublime record? I thought the one VMP is putting out was their only one. ;)

    Sexy M.F.'ers...The Prince Fan Thread

I was hoping for a hologram cover for Diamonds and Pearls, but I will gladly take any reissue. (y)

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

Mo' Rock was on Argo (not Blue Note), but it would be nice if VMP could put it out in the future.

    Upcoming/Recent Shows

Bryan Adams played a show here in Seoul on Thursday, and he was still in fine form, hitting all the high notes effortlessly. The last time I saw him was in 2005 at Oldsmobile Park in Lansing, Michigan, when he did a summer tour in minor league ballparks with Def Leppard. He has put out several...

That Escalated Quickly (aka Common Records Turned Rare)

Yes, I also got this from Amazon in 2016 for around 8 bucks. :)

    Vinyl Me Please Classics

I guess it's down to one of these three albums on Enterprise, a Stax subsidiary. Talking to the People by Black Nasty Louis Paul's self-titled debut Ghetto: Misfortune's Wealth by The 24-carat Black

    Vinyl Me Please Country

I first got interested in country music thanks to watching Ricky Skaggs playing mandolin on television.

    Vinyl Me Please Anthology

Well, this is as good as it can be for a Cadet anthology. A minor complaint is that some of these had recent reissues (and I have them), but I could always use more AAA Grundman reissues.

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Well, you can at least guess what the title track is. ;)

    Definitive Audiophile pressings

Well, the production process itself may not be deceptive, but they neglected to reveal the tape to DSD step. So, in my book, the entire One-Step program is deceptive. And these boxes were always One-Steps, with little emphasis on SuperVinyl. Having said that, I may pick up some of these titles...

What is up with SuperVinyl 45s at One-Step price? Are they giving up the deceptive One-Step moniker?
