    Third Man Records Vault

Only one I got from them is the Captian Beefheart. I thought it was a pretty good package and that's a record I've wanted on vinyl forever. I have trouble paying $60 each month for a 'mystery pick,' so I just wait until the package is announced and then decide from there whether it's worth it...

VMP RoTM: Crown a Monthly Champ

Had to go with Call Me. EU is great (tried listening to Camp Lo, but decided I didn't need that one), but Al is it this month.

Somehow, I lost my swap for Outkast, and I can't get it back... Now it looks like I may be stuck with Phoenix... DOH!!

    Vinyl Me Please Essentials

Just Classics and R&HH for me this month. My main track is Essentials, and I swapped for Outkast this month. Phoenix is a fine record, but not one I'm going to listen to a lot, whereas Outkast I really want... So, in the interest of cost-cutting, just the two.

Vinyl Me Please Rap & Hip Hop

It'll be brown.. Not because it should be, just because VMP has an obsession with brown... Experience Unlimited, Mavis Staples, TV on the Radio, Goodie Mob, and Snoop Dog all some shade of brown... So, I'd guess....Brown.

Yeah. Same here. Two girls. Seeing the parts of their lives that have past, still to come and the parts my wife is currently going through. Hit me hard

    The National

Yeah....So one of my measures of an album (maybe it's weird), is how much it makes me want to listen to their older records. This actually works two ways....sometimes it's because it makes me yearn for previous glory, others it's because it makes me fall in love with the band all over again...

    The National

I've read that Pitchfork's numerical rating is actually voted on by a group, that are not necessarily the person that wrote the article.

    Talking U2 with you too.

Disagree.. Don't care for too much of SOI, but I think SOE is a much stronger album throughout.
