I was referencing vmp's most recent printing error, misprinting 'the hawk flies high' as 'the hawk files high'. That's why my post said 'flied in the right order'...just wondered if anyone would pick up on it 😁

I still wonder if sorting by chronological order would make more sense, but not sure what I'd do about albums recorded over multiple sessions.

The problem with alphabetical is that you're relying on all those spines being printed correctly so they can be flied in the right order...

Sounds fair enough, the Rhino box is £75 over here, still seems decent for four albums. Amazon look like they've a blue Barnes and Noble pressing of Workingman’s Dead coming in at the end of Demember, any ideas of how this compares with the Rhino? Also the AB 50th seems to be a picture disk...?

Watching the Netflix movie now, its more of a telling of events through the eyes of Bob Weir. I'm just 25 minutes in but it seems good so far!

Apologies for asking as I'm sure it's been discussed already, but if I picked this up, what additional albums would be classed as essential for someone new to the Dead? Edit: how about American Beauty, Workingmans Dead and Live Dead to go alongside the Rhino box set...?

But how will they replace the faulty albums from the sold out box sets...?

I've got Saxophone Colossus, Freedom Suite and Alfie. The Bridge is one album I still need to pick up, but struggling to find a good pressing in decent condition at a reasonable price in the UK.

Wonder how much vmp would be trying to sell that for...
