That vmp Szabo takes it to another level. I'd immediately listened to a few of his other albums, but theres some cheesy covers that remind me of elevator music. Was really hoping the Best Of would be his original music but the covers are on there again so it's an easy pass for me. By the way...

Have to say, I'm loving the 'gypsy jazz' Gabor Szabo Dreams album from vmp. Wondering where to go from here, what other albums of his or of a similar nature are recommended?

One possibility on the new Blue Note Classic releases, they would make more money by releasing BN80 quality classic albums first, then do a TP style remaster/reissue later down the line. Makes more business sense to avoid going straight to Tone Poet quality. I'd even get a few coloured...
