Well this month I swapped for Parson Jones, it's a pretty cool album. Along with Henri Texier, Extraa, Oliver Nelson, The Brooks and Texas Chainsaw I think it's a nice little collection so far. All the albums arrived within a few days of posting, all look great and sound even better. No pops...

They could actually have split this into two different box sets, part one and part two... with maybe 5 or 6 albums in each set.

Just wondering people's thoughts as to whether Empyrean Isles is gonna get a Tone Poet style repress? A decent copy has been elusive so I think I'd rather hope and wait rather than spend big on the box set.

I've got that version too and it works fine for me. I picked up around a dozen King pressings of the classic blue note albums at the start of the year, I found them great value for money and mostly still near mint and with obis (y)

I'll keep that website in mind, thanks for mentioning it! I've got that DOL version already and it's a little noisy. I think DOL do presses from digital although I've a copy of In The Wee Small Hours from them which sounds really good :cool:

Thanks for your comments, its hugely appreciated and all helps to make a decision! I think I'm gonna go for it. Guessing with postage and import fees it's gonna be a good chunk more, but it's been a frustrating album to get a good pressing of and sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do 😁
