Googling would suggest 1kg is the max weight for the Technics, the MoFi weight I have is a bit over 1/3 of that at 367 grams. Seems it should be fine.

Any concern about hsing my MoFi record weight on the technics?

I think the Greenpoint strangeness could be part of it but there’s definitely an interconnect incompatibility happening. I just swapped out the pair of BJCs that ran between my phono and amp with the pair of Belden BJCs that were originally linking my TT to phono and now the hiss has been made...

I thought I wasn’t I had two different pairs of BJCs as interconnects between my components, one pair of Beldens and I forget the others. I just swapped out the Beldens and put in a cheapy pair of RCAs that were included with the Technics and that swapped out the radio interference for a hissing...

I’m so confused… I just unplugged the turntable and the radio interference is still coming in strong.
