Is there a waitlist of players who can’t crack the NHL because there’s not enough teams…lol.

It was 16 for a long time but they recently bumped it to 17. I think there’s also talks about making it 18, but not sure. I stopped watching about 7 or 8 years ago.

It would be rad! I think it would inject an element of excitement that the league needs. But I know it won’t happen.

@bdrummond I agree with everything you’ve said. However, I’d only be on board with expansion if promotion/relegation were introduced and I doubt that ever happens. The league is bloated already.
