Watched the first ep of Long Bright River last night. Not sure if we will continue, looks to be a real slog. Plus I just finished watching Get Millie Black which feels that it covers similar territory.
Also, while SFA should be firmly in my stoner wheel house, they never fully clicked with me. I know they are good but I would only reach for an album of theirs maybe once every 2 years at best, if I owned any. Pretty sure I got rid of the couple of cds years ago.
I assume Fuzzy Logic is the other one in the book. I don’t think there should be 2 SFA albums here but I put this one slightly above Fuzzy Logic. Take that Newman!
I was very excited to hear Change of Heart have a new album coming out this month. As an indie rocker in the late 80s and early 90s, CoH was big for me.
I like the blind spots. I have found a few albums through this thread that were new to me. Plus I love spreading the love for stuff that others are not familiar with but seem interested in.
But if tomorrow’s selection is. Frampton Comes Alive, I am going to be unimpressed.
His husband has a big horse farm near me, where he is from. The area has lots of big horse farms. I have seen Elton a couple of times at the local microbrewery there.
My local comic shop has about 1/4 of their space dedicated to vinyl and got RSD designation this year. I doubt they will have much but I am will drop by to see if they have the Bowie.
