    Television

Watched the first ep of Long Bright River last night. Not sure if we will continue, looks to be a real slog. Plus I just finished watching Get Millie Black which feels that it covers similar territory.

I have a KPG/RTI pressing of Paranoid so I don’t think there will be significant improvement. I am on the fence about the Alice title

The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

Also, while SFA should be firmly in my stoner wheel house, they never fully clicked with me. I know they are good but I would only reach for an album of theirs maybe once every 2 years at best, if I owned any. Pretty sure I got rid of the couple of cds years ago.

The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

I assume Fuzzy Logic is the other one in the book. I don’t think there should be 2 SFA albums here but I put this one slightly above Fuzzy Logic. Take that Newman!

New Music - The Canadian content (CANCON) edition

Sadly none of them. Found it online. I was an annoying 18yo during the Worlds Fair in 1986. What a weird concept.

New Music - The Canadian content (CANCON) edition

I was very excited to hear Change of Heart have a new album coming out this month. As an indie rocker in the late 80s and early 90s, CoH was big for me.

And because they cannot set up their Shop site or have any inventory control, only about 50 of those titles are truly in-stock

The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

I like the blind spots. I have found a few albums through this thread that were new to me. Plus I love spreading the love for stuff that others are not familiar with but seem interested in. But if tomorrow’s selection is. Frampton Comes Alive, I am going to be unimpressed.

That will be a bitter pill for VMP to swallow. People using credits to buy pricy box sets. Keep up the good work in killing off VMP ;)

His husband has a big horse farm near me, where he is from. The area has lots of big horse farms. I have seen Elton a couple of times at the local microbrewery there.

    Record Store Day 2025

My local comic shop has about 1/4 of their space dedicated to vinyl and got RSD designation this year. I doubt they will have much but I am will drop by to see if they have the Bowie.
