A coworker of mine in the Boston area tried his luck at his local GameStop in person. Needless to say, he did not get a Switch 2. The line was wrapped around the block and they had already given out numbers for all the Switches they have available for pre-order at that location.

The "Not Available" button just appeared in red to me instead of black on a refresh. Clicking the red not available button added the Switch 2 to my cart and I was able to checkout!

Just was able to get the pro controller in my cart, but no luck with the Switch 2 itself as of yet. Both the Mario Kart bundle and the Switch 2 standalone just say Not Available if I can even get the page to load. Hopefully it's not sold out already.

Well, that sucks. My GameStop location in Salem apparently permanently closed. Just found that out when confirming if they open at 11:00am or 12:00pm like I see listed for all the other locations within 25 miles. I didn't attempt to fight the bots act 12:00am and woke up to everything...

Should I expect 50 to 100 people lined up a couple hours before the doors open at my local game stop for the switch to pre-orders similar to the PlayStation five drops 4 to 5 years ago or do you think it’ll be good showing up a half hour before they open?
