Yeah when oppo shuttered PS Audio tried to buy their drive manufacturing but were turned down so they went to Marantz as the sole show in town. I think I remember them saying their unit jumped quite a bit in price because Marantz charged a fair bit. Some sony blu ray drives do still play SACD...

I have a copy of BSSM and I think I thought I liked it back in the 90s. I listened to it probably 5 years ago, maybe longer, and I just hated it with an unreal passion. It’s just fundamentally terrible and unlikable and it just hurts my brain.

It beats out sticky fingers because of the songs for me. It’s the stones, it’s always going to be a bit grimey. Sticky Fingers is probably my least favourite of their great run, I’d put Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed above it too.
