Ah, so on my phone the play button is mostly hidden and I can't scroll down to see it fully. If you Add a listening event away from the screen, it doesn't scrobble. Used the latter way for my first record spun so that's where I ran into the issue.

@Nee Lewman Does it scrobble immediately when you add a listening event? I've connected my account and added a listening event, but nothing on my Last FM.
