As a shop taking in more used records in all sorts of condition I can see an RCM being more up to the task overall. I think they'll both have their place, but with new albums outpacing used in my collection the ease and convenience, and effectiveness of course, are hard to dismiss. That said...

Honestly, using the corner of the container to pour works better than the actual "spout" part of it.

After my first few records with the HumminGuru today, I fear my RCM is going to take a back seat in the cleaning department. Really convenient, easy and effective. My only negative, the "spout" on the water tank is useless.............nit picky at best.

Actually a very good question, either way I'm sure the savings are going to be incredible and hopefully that mono box doesn't sell out ;)

Side note for the "Guru" crowd, how many albums are you getting per tank before replacing with clean water? TIA

I think this has become known, but these Levi/RTI Metallica pressings are fantastic. I'm not a huge metal guy, but like genre representation in my collection so we picked these up. I've listened to all 3 about 4 times, and they are just stunning...

I don't know if this makes up for a broken tonearm wire, but it's something, lol. Nova on it's maiden voyage and it got my worst album as a test :)
