Ya, I've read that, I mean could they be any thinner? That said, the carts not getting swapped on this deck ever so I'm ok with that, also contacted a tech, he quoted me $25?! We'll see if that changes once he has it in hand.

All kidding aside, these are the things that put the !!!!! on being done with gear. Once this is fixed, I'm so content with being literally done, I have one more cart I'd like to add to the stable, but outside of that done, no "famous last words", DONE!

That's beyond my price range, but I had looked into it long and hard before grabbing the M5. The M5si is brilliant in my opinion and everything I'd come across about MF was positive, I've really liked the few pieces of their gear I've owned.

I agree with @Angsty, it may depend on the cartridge. That said, it worked great on my Gardo's, Hana and Ortofon's and at that point it just stayed on the TT at all times. I think it's an affordable add on to roll the dice on, just my opinion of course ;)
