Well, a deal was struck and I did a thing to add mono to the chain :) The EAT has been secured and I'm actually really looking forward to this table. With what research I could compile and reviews read, it seems like a good fit for my "strictly mono" table and I always enjoy trying new brands...

Honestly it's a shame, but it's enough to sour the biggest fans. I know a few people who have the MD and have had 0 issues with them, which makes me wonder if its a QC thing, or just luck of the draw. Either way, no bueno.

I'd second the Hana SL, loved it on my UltraDeck, came full circle back to it recently and it's every bit as good as I remember. That said, the Grado Sonata3 is the MM/MI go to, in my opinion, if MC is off the table.

Consistency leaves a lot to be desired, hope the replacement is the Levi cut 🤞

It looks like they've made some meaningful improvements with the new model, but it also comes with a nice price jump.

I like my VPI, the ultrasonic is coming into play for some older records that need that deep clean, I don't know if one replaces the other, but I've also not owned one, but here nothing but good things about the Guru

I really want to get an ultrasonic cleaner, I've seen this one before, has gotten decent reviews. Debating on this and the Humminguru, and checking out their newest version. Quite the spread in price across the 3 as well.
