I kind of forgot all about this band. I remember they were kind of a big deal when the first couple albums came out. Really digging it so far.

Yeah. It was a fun day even if the Sixers ruined the fun. We actually did not go to Xfinity Live. We just tailgated in between games. After paying for overpriced beer and food at the first game, doing it again at Xfinity Live didn't seem appealing.

Maybe that's what I was doing wrong.

I'm heading to Philly tomorrow for a double header of a Flyers and Sixers game. This seemed like a way better idea back in November when we made the plan :oops:

I'm actually finding this Frank Sinatra album kind of "meh". I don't believer I ever listened to any of his albums in full before. I can certainly appreciate him as an artist, but I'm not feeling 50 minutes of ballads this morning.

I got too many podcasts to listen to that The Athletic kind of went by the wayside. Oddly enough, The Roundtable was the one that I always skipped. Maybe I'll have to check that one out. As a Philly guy, I always enjoy Starkeville.

I always joke that the Apple TV fonts look like 2005 iTunes. $100 for the season isn't bad. The Peacock NBC Sports Philly add on and the Phillies In-Market MLB.TV are both $25 a month.

ESPN gets the first game of the day and doesn't even have a Baseball Tonight pre-game show?

Sometimes are offering an In-Market add on to MLB.TV so you can watch both out of market and in-market games. But of course that comes at a premium money wise. Helps with the $$$ but not the eyeballs. I believe in the next 5 to 10 yeas RSNs will be a thing of the past and teams will just...

Luckily, I'm not missing much these last few weeks of the Sixers season lol (Even though I'm actually going to the game Saturday and won't see a single starter). But I've just started sailing the seven seas for Sixers games now.

As I mentioned above with the Sixers... I have YouTube TV which has NBC Sports Philly and 76ers games are still blacked out even though Flyers and Phillies play fine. Peacock just added a NBC Sports Philly add on through Peacock so I thought this was the solution to my problem so I subscribed...

The nice thing about the Apple broadcasts is that you select your home team's radio broadcast as the audio.

I have YouTube TV which is why I need the extra MLB Network package. It has NBC Sports Philly so I get Phillies games. Weirdly, 76ers games are blacked out on there which is a whole other sore subject of frustration and workarounds for me but at least it makes baseball season easy.

Baseball Tonight was the best in the early 2000's. A nightly hour long show with highlights and commentary. There's still nothing like it right now. MLB Network has a separate highlight show and commentary show. Nothing that combines them all into one.

Seems promising. I'll cancel my subscription and see what happens.
