Talk to me if you can't fill the spots. I'm terrible at keeping up with fantasy baseball but I'll step in if you absolutely need a team to start the league.

I live in the Orioles territory. That would be a good one as long as ownership shows commitment to the team. I actually just switched to Fubo TV so I get MASN for the first time in a while so I might actually get to check out some Orioles games on TV this year.

Always room for more Phillies fans! Tom McCarthy/John Kruk broadcasts are the best in baseball. Or you could just watch The Dodgers dominate the league all summer.

Yeah, I actually just saw on T-Mobile it says starting March 25. For some reason I thought it was towards the beginning of Spring Training but I guess it's usually around the start of the regular season.

Has anyone heard if T-Mobile is doing the free MLB TV Subscription again this year? I can't remember when that usually runs.

The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project (aka Preachin’ about the Preachers if today’s selection sucks)

Apparently I just have no idea who John Cale is because I thought this was the guy with the 600 year long organ piece. 🙄 Edit: I see he is a founding member of The Velvet Underground which is a big blind spot for me so that might explain it. I'm liking it so far! His voice is much easier to...

I saw at least half of those bands at radio station festivals in the late 90s / early 2000s. Where's Good Charlotte???

"Cuts You Up" is the best Post Grunge song to exist a half decade before the genre even existed.

Of the very few songs I know from The Cult, none of them are on this album. I always thought the guy had a cool voice though.

This is not a commentary of today's choice. But this was a delightful interview with James Dean Bradfield. It's obviously more guitar/gear centered but there's a lot of talk about the band's influences etc. I haven't heard many interviews with him so I was very surprised that that's the guy...

A half speed master of this is tempting since most of Of Montreal's vinyl releases sound...not great.

I've been on big Britpop (And Britpop adjacent) kick lately so this one was timely. I really enjoy this one. Jarvis Cocker does a great job as the overly sexual voice. It's dark, it's gritty, kind of the anti-Britpop Britpop album. 4/5 for me.
