I really did initially want them because they would fit in my basement room. But not having the ability to move them upstairs if I preferred the L100s took them out of the running.

This was my first big amp upgrade but I don't foresee myself changing it for a long time. It's got all the power I need and the sound is so adjustable I can pretty much tailor it however I want. I think I will always need that as an option. My brain needs to fiddle and this allows me to do that...

Haha I haven't yet gotten one of those but I think stores are scrambling. When I inquired about the Forte IV the store immediately offered me 25% off list. Which equals only about $4000 usd total. That's crazy cheap up here for that speaker.
