Agree on WoW - this is one where I had multiple copies (80s ojc vinyl, mofi cd, new BG cut) and the BG was easily the best for me.

Are the three impulse labeled mono actually mono? For Mingus probably doesn’t matter too much, but questionable decision* for the others (if it was a decision…maybe tapes are gone). *IMO, me likely the stereo

$60 small batch….hmmm…. Maybe a dumb question, but for those that have them, are they generally pretty quiet pressings? I feel like I’ve seen a lot of anecdotes about noisy small batch despite the fancy vinyl compound.

Do we have a classical thread? That might be cool. I only follow the SHF classical mega-box thread (mostly for deals), but I imagine that the classical threads on SHF are like the organissimo forum for jazz (not fun).

Makes it look like def jam took a hiatus from 1991-2001 and then again from 2003-2017. But I don’t know anything about def jam so maybe that’s true

Thanks for the heads up on this! Just bought a used Jaco like 2 days ago and I already have the Speakers Corner Herbie so I went with the other 4. I'm a little😬 on Tutu, but we'll see. At the very least it should sound great.
