Very nice. Wide open soundstage. Nice detail and clarity. The star of the show is Coltrane and his solos. He stands out every time. It’s not that he’s louder, he just has unmatched ferocity. Drums are a little distant, but it is not a big deal.

Like the name implies, bookshelf speakers were designed to go in bookshelves. Certainly, some issues could occur depending on the quality of shelving, from vibration, bass issues etc, but putting bookshelf speakers on stands don’t automatically make things better. Like all things, it depends...
