Now that the 2020s are halfway through, what do you think? What albums do you like more than others? Is your favorite release from 2021 better than your favorite release from 2024? How do the years hold up? Has there been anything that surprised you where you've come around to it a few years later?

Best of the Decade so far

  1. Alvvays - Blue Rev (2022)
  2. Beach House - Once Twice Melody (2022 but also 2021)
  3. The Beths - Expert in a Dying Field (2022)
  4. The Lemon Twigs - Everything Harmony (2023)
  5. Yumi Zouma - Truth or Consequences (2020)
  6. Fontaines D.C. - A Hero's Death (2020)

Unless something monumental releases in the next 5 years that Alvvays album will probably my BOTD. Genuinely a top 10 album of all time for me.
