Huh, this isn't on streaming. Weird.

With Martin Phillipps’ passing last week I streamed several of The Chills albums this week but found one of his records is not on Apple Music. This led me down a bit of a rabbit hole of looking for things not available on streaming.

Now these aren’t huge acts (except maybe Mos Def) but I still find it crazy in this day and age that some albums or entire catalogues are not available on streaming. What are some of the albums that you cannot find on Apple Music or Spotify?

Martin Phillipps and The Chills - Sunburnt.

Mos Def - The Ecstatic

Adorable - Against Perfection (and the rest of their catalogue)

Opal - Happy Nightmare Baby

It bugs me to no end that the full Dead Man Walking soundtrack isn't on Spotify, just certain tracks. The two Eddie Vedder / Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan tracks are so good.

There's some that used to be on streaming but they took off for some reason and it's just some specific songs:

Al Jarreau - Never Explain Love from the Do the Right Thing Soundtrack.

And i was thinking about this yesterday - but All of the Munchausen By Proxy stuff from the Yes Man Soundtrack (the best part of that movie)

Oh... and the Rachel Getting Married soundtrack with this fantastic version of Robyn Hitchcock's America

They've also recently removed his I Often Dream of Trains In New York live album too which sucks

All mine are in reference to spotify btw. They seem to be on Apple Music
