i imagine these will also come in stock in the US. megalopolis at least.

@Ethos99 has had Megalopolis up at Paladin for a couple of weeks. I've just been looking for other April releases to add to the cart before I place the order.
Thx for the heads up. Megalopolis and additional J Jazz haul incoming from @Ethos99 thanks to this prompt. I already have Henderson in Japan, so don’t need Habiliment despite the track swap between the two. I have both Toki and J Jazz Vol 3 on cd but like them enough to switch to vinyl and will probably sell the CDs.

So...picked this up yesterday and will be interested in what the group take is here - now, this is definite unobtanium in its original JP reissues, ive only seen it once in the wild for quite a bit, but these are now over 5000yen locally, let me tell you that is a big number here...but cover scan photo isn't awesome and for me the SQ is variable...maybe ogawa did the best he could with what he had, but not sure on the story - all project re:vinyl are cut from digital but that's not my issue here...dunno, kinda disappointed.

but I did pick up two late 70's/early 80s rando jazz records on the Discomate label and while the music is solid jazz of the era, the recordings are fantastic....

Mine haven’t shipped yet, but I’ll let you know when I’ve git them abd had a couple of listens. Yeah they are starting to get expensive, ev Ed n compared ti the 3 blind mice reissues these are 600 odd yen more , which adds up and the yen has started to go up a bit against the Aussie$ as well…. Oh well , stiff shit!

Just fyi - Cromulent has the ST Casiopea album up for preorders

I received a newsletter from HMV last night. Apparently there is a new Ryo Fukui live recording coming in June.
Also, Superfly Records will release a J-Jazz album from Shinsuke Fujieda Group

To end, I recently purchased Project Re:Vinyl and TBM reissues from DubStore.fr. They are by far the cheapest option I found to have these Japanese records. They are connecteted to RecordCity in Japan and have tons of Japanese records in store, both new and used. I ordered 5 PRV and 3TBM and saved something like 15€ on each record compared to how much I usually spend at my local. They ship to Europe but also offer International shipping options (can't comment on these prices). Worth a look.
