My question I pose to all of you, is if you put Prince's "Parade" in soundtracks, or somewhere else?

If a soundtrack is a single artist, then file with the artist (Prince and Purple Rain). If several artists then with the comps (Singles Soundtrack)

Yeah, I mean right now it's not filling a Kallax cube, but it's enough that I could split it with my "Various Artists" section in 1 of 20 Kallax cubes I have going. That's not a humble brag...please send storage space asap.

You should always plan on having at least a cube of everything. Just designate the cube now and figure out what to do when it expands past one cube.

I added one today - so the # is now 756.

And while I don't make the Score / Soundtrack distinction on this list - I really do prefer "scores" rather than soundtracks with pre-recorded tracks. Some soundtracks that have exclusive tracks are fine, but if they are essentially a compilation of various artists already popular tracks I really don't buy them all too often.

I also have a lot of scores where I haven't seen the movie - mostly because I love the composer.


Also - I will not be getting the Footloose soundtrack. The movie was fine for it's time, but the music has been a bit overplayed.
