to be fair, you could just join the discord. It’s a mess at times with the shit posting but it’s not a hermetic experience. Everyone is welcome though.

to be fair, I don't want to. And, more importantly, shouldn't have to.

They send out enough unimportant emails to all their members, they should take a moment to send the important ones too. Discord should not be the be all end all of their customer communication. But seems to have become so for anything other than advertising.

I mean, the discord is their way to rile up hype for pre orders and shoot the shit.

And, theoretically, they don’t have to tell you all of their plans either. It’s the name of the game with VMP. It’s just part of the game that I’ve grown to accept, though. I’m sure it’s more frustrating for other subscribers.

But I use discord for other channels anyhow so it doesn’t personally bother me to keep up with their discord.

yea they need to be better about communication. It’s only been 10 years so far and they still haven’t figured out some of this stuff hah.

With that said, I’d wager most people don’t even know about this suit and they are waiting to sort out where the stuff will be pressed now.

Interestingly the complaint seems to say that their relationship with other pressing plants has been ruined as a result of VMPressing. Maybe they just mean QRP since they poached Gary?

I hear you on this, but they've lost that benefit of the doubt from me. The fact that they oversell tracks without notifying customers unless said customers inquire about their orders (*in some exceptions they have, but not all); when they ran out of a bonus item for the Dolly track it would have been easy to send out a note saying, "hey y'all, some of you are gonna receive your stuff late because of this," instead of leaving people to wonder where the hell the order was (also how do you run out of the bonus thing on a limited track with a set number?!); Or when there's a pressing-wide issue and replacement copies are going to be sent but they don't let people know... it's beyond ridiculous!

I'm not angry, it's just exasperating watching them walk into the same sliding glass door over and over again.

And I don't hate VMP, I just have very little confidence in them when it comes to things like communication and logistics.

Which is a damn shame, because 10 years should be long enough to figure that shit out!
