Vinyl Me Please (store, exclusives, swaps, etc)

I wouldn't expect you to. No offense but no one carries more water for VMP since Mr emoji stopped posting than you do around here. And I wasn't saying it meant things were dire there, but it certainly is a way for them to shuffle things that benefits them more than their customers. We already know that you disagree, which is fine, but I'd stake a hefty bet on that being the reason for the change. And that has nothing to do with a paper bag.
And let me just say that I love their product more often than not too. I want them to succeed, but they still do stupid shit that ignores their customers all the time.

Was just making a joke about the Album Circle paper bag thing. Not saying you were thinking they are going out of business or anything. I remember opening up the album circle box and just thinking WTF is this.

I don't doubt that the series wasn't selling well and that's why they have stopped it and shifted some things around. I just disagree that it's some kinda scam like Album Circle was. I wish the Toussaint was a ROTM instead because it would be cheaper hah. If people don't like the albums that are being shifted over, then they'll end up in the bargain bins at some point I'm sure.

Absolutely agree. But can't say I'm all that shocked. We have 10 years of data at this point and many things haven't changed in how the company is run, how they communicate, and the stupid errors they make.

My favorite thing about tinfoil hats is the belief that the government has technology to beam thoughts/waves/whatever directly into your brain, but they also forgot to make Reynolds change the composition of the aluminum foil they manufacture, so as long as you've got $3.89 and a neighborhood Kroger, you're already halfway to subverting the new world order.
So you’re saying my hat needs a few extra layers of $3.89 tinfoil to work?

We can beam the thoughts in and still choose to make most people idiots, lol.

That's exactly it. Now they'll sell way more of them then they would have otherwise.
I mean if it wasn’t selling, moving it to rotm doesn’t make any sense. Not selling 1000 copies is way different from running off subscribers and/or a bunch of people swapping - which they have already alluded to being concerned about. {CCD probably should have always been a country album (now I’m thinking this might be their “bluegrass” trio - I’m a have to school Storf if it is)}

I’m all onboard with VMP here. If people won’t listen to the Paragon stuff of their own volition then make it a RotM and make everyone listen to them.

Unless it actually ends up being a mystery selection where the RotM for each member is a random album from the series. Picked from the huge stack of unsold records in the corner of the warehouse

But once in the 80s a man in a trenchcoat thought an bag of pears would protect him from the rain… but he only had a trumpet…
