Noice. I’m so surprised that everyone loves the Golden press. I think it sounds pretty good but feels like it’s missing something. I literally pulled my chair in between my Lintons and did more of a near field experience with it to feel more immersed and impressed by the Golden cut. Maybe the soundstage feels weird to me?

he said in a Q&A (where he also confirmed some things that I wont spoil because I want to have you be somewhat surprised) is because it wasn't possible to make it an essentials record

It's already a 2LP at 33, so don't see it being a 4LP 45 for $45 haha.

I have the Golden Rainbo pressing but have heard the RTI one is a bit better. The album was mixed digitally I believe so don't know that there has ever been or will ever be an AAA version.

I believe all former ROTM (including single and double LPs and represses like Low End Theory) are $36 for members at the moment. Nina Simone is at low stock if some people were wanting that—it’s available in store now.

If you preordered some represses like ATCQ, might be worth cancelling and reordering to save some money

Yup, I don’t own it on vinyl and immediately smashed preorder after reading @MikeH ’s post.

There are very few things left that i own on cd that I want on vinyl. I really need to catalog, consolidate and reorganize the cd collection.

stax record coming in Q4 (probably in classics but I dunno), December is from 2009, Judas Priest coming in essentials, lauryn hill is basically 99% finished except for lauryn herself approving it, all the voodoo stuff, Jonis on green vinyl, nickel creek album could be self titled but he suggested a different LC! album for doing than the one they are actually doing so I dunno, MCR might be happening

Any reason why ATCQ Low End Theory is now $36 but TLC Fanmail or NWA are still at their standard price?
