VMP doing a jamie xx variant today. 1LP cut by matty colton + pressed at IRP. which means i'll probably go for the 3LP deluxe EU cut since they will probably be pressed at Optimal.

i dunno whether to go for the 3LP or not... i am trying to save some money because my subscription renews next month.. but I want this album a lot..... i almost just bought the black on amazon but if VMP is doing a color (and its not super expensive) I might just buy that.. i don't need that 12 inch

i'm going for the UK/EU 3LP. i want that extra 12" with the erykah badu collaboration. think it was something like $48 shipped from JPC.

"If this was pressed as an Essentials at GZ and remastered by Cicely Balston would I give it a shot or feel confident that it was going to sound great?"

And my answer is: "Yeah, Cicely has done a bang-on job 99% of the time and dare I say there will be more for her to work with here than your typical RHH selection."

Fuck it, I'm a get it. This essentially feels/looks like a ROTM pick but without the horrible Storf write up and maybe embossed cover
