I expect that if I ever check out a “local” Wilco show again it will be in Austin or Dallas.

The curtailed second set and perfunctory “imagine we walked off stage” encore summed things up for the night.

In the early days, Jeff used to be quite prickly at live shows. He has definitely mellowed over the years, and embraced his role as elder statesman in the industry - which has honestly been great to see. Still, as noted above, he is often triggered by use of phones, ill-timed requests and whether or not the crowd is singing along and/or clapping appropriately. If nothing else, it adds a bit of humor to what is more often than not an amazing live show.

I upgraded too, will probably just sell the other. It's the only Wilco I really enjoy after Ghost.
