The wife and I flew into Adelaide this morning to see The Avalanches perform SILY with the Adelaide symphony. Checked into our hotel and then went out for breakfast and ended up meeting them. Robbie and Tony were very gracious and chatted with us for a while.
I did my best not to gush.

They vinyl gods blessed me today. While it’s not the Mono Masters I was able to get a The Beatles stereo box off Facebook Marketplace for a great price. 1 previous owner who got it several years ago as a gift for her 15th birthday. It’s barely been touched and is close to mint as you’ll get. The records, I mean. I can’t vouch for the girl.
