The Official Needles and Grooves 1001 Album Generator Project

I was trying to figure out why this band name sounded familiar, but it's probably from seeing them associated with Iron & Wine.

I'd say Supergrass is more consistent than Blur or Oasis, but the highs from Blur and Oasis are higher. That being said, In it for the Money is by far my favorite, and was actually my introduction to Supergrass. I heard "Late in the Day" and "Sun Hits the Sky" on some old MTV reality show...

I missed that they released an expanded version of Supergrass. I assume it's from when they re-issued it a few years ago? Digging all the additional live tracks.

For the theater too. I think they closed or moved about 25 years ago.

It was the only movie I ever snuck into. Went on opening night and my friend in front of me got the last ticket. (Hopefully no one form Regal Cinemas in Downingtown is reading this!)

The original isn't even on streaming anymore! What gives?? They need to get people hyped.

This movie plays on my 90's nostalgia...until I realize that I'm old and barely recognize any of the actors in the movie, or any of the artists on the soundtrack. Time to stream "Long Way Down".

    My Morning Jacket

Ok, I retract what I said about being home by "S.O.B." though. Enjoy the show. I had the very fortunate pleasure of seeing MMJ twice at a very small venue (Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA) supporting It Still Moves and Z. I probably didn't realize at the time what a great opportunity it was...

Now you can just leave early, beat traffic and be in bed by the time Nathaniel Rateliff is playing "S.O.B"

I did. I recognized pretty much all the songs so I must have heard it before. I just never owned it and didn't know it as well as Nevermind or Bleach.

Record cleaning - what's your method?

As a fellow Chisto user I just spread it on and vacuum it off. Are you mainly cleaning new or older records?

Hmm... I actually can't say with any certainty that I've listened to In Utero before. I know I had Nevermind and Bleach growing up but I never actually owned this one. I know a good amount of the tracks from radio play and listening to them at friend's houses, but I don't think I've ever...

12 songs, 25 minutes, no messing around. That's how you do it.

Not familiar with this at all. It sounds very of it's time though.

It was many years after I heard this that I realized it was a Rolling Stones cover. TBH, it works better as a 90s dreamy alternative song.

I've never actually listened to much of The Pogues. To be honest, I always thought they were kind of gimmicky. However, this album has proven me wrong. There are so many great songs on here.

    The NBA Thread

Seeing the Knicks beat the Pacers the exact same way they beat the Sixers night after night is making me angry all over again.
