Definitive Audiophile pressings

Except that this guy is doing stuff we/you want him to be doing! AAA audiophile vinyl. And he's got more toys than all of us.

Not really. He hits the curation for me approximately once every 2000 records. It’s boomer cat nip.

Also that whole buy now or cry later and the way he whines about how he can’t get any staff because they want to actually earn money really fucks me off.

Yea I love the jazz stuff but would love to see him do more rock and other cuts. He said he cut something like 250-300 LPs last year so am very interested to see what those are when they all come out (doubt they were all pressed and sold last year)
I have Omnivore's reissue of The Muffs - Blonder And Blonder that KG cut, and it rocks so hard. The man can do it all. Also his Damned Damned Damned - fantastic!

I think the next N&G merch item should trademark and brand "Fuck Chad".

Not sure there's a "Definitive" pressing, but was looking to pic this up. I know there's an Anniversary pressing coming out, but I'm not seeing any earth shattering information on the pressing.

Thoughts, comments appreciated as usual ;)
i believe KG just cut a few Booker T AAA pressings but not sure what titles...

LOL, Thanks, I've waited this long so why not a little longer ;)
not 100% sure if this title was in it--he didn't name names. i believe it was in this interview:

from my post at the time--KG is doing a BUNCH of stuff with Jackpot. 4 Booker T & the MGs albums from the master tapes, 3 Electric Prunes AAA and 3 titles from the Wipers also AAA.

He later clarified that he meant the Meters, not the Wipers haha

anybody know P-Vine records? Looks like they just acquired Weldon Irvine's entire catalogue and copyrights to all master tapes including unreleased material....hope they do nice work!
I saw this... I am hoping for an affordable reissue of In Harmony most of all!

I don't know much about P-vine quality but I bought their reissue of Open Soul and I didn't think it sounded that great. However, I guess the expectation should be lower for that one due to the quality of the source material, it was made from a needle drop and they didn't have the tapes like they apparently will for Weldon. I also bought a Les Demerle reissue and Roy Porter neither of which I consider among my best sounding records, but come to think of it those might be needle drops as well... need to use a translator on the Japanese text from the obi and see what information was disclosed (or conspicuously omitted)
