It Could Get A Bit Messi In Here - The Football Thread.

I don’t get it at all. I get that they’d rather Arsenal didn’t win the title, I’d rather city or Liverpool didn’t either, but damn when it comes to match day I always want my team to win, regardless of the consequences!
Also, if they win tomorrow they are two points back of a Champion's League spot with one to play! It's not like they are eliminated from contention.

Well Jonathan, I guess it's really not meant to be.

Exactly. Especially since Palace plays way better against the top 6 than they do against everyone else it seems lol

Yep and even after a sticky patch imagine the boost beating city gives going into the summer and building for next season. A positive attitude and momentum are always big things around a club.

City have not won a league match at Tottenham Hotspur stadium since it opened 5 years ago.

All Arsenal need is a draw and we go into the final day level with a +3 GD

city and loosing titles on goal difference is giving me PTSD boojy, you don’t want to go relying on that…

I know. 12 years of pain. Day after my birthday and hungover to add to the pain a bit more.
Lmao I forgot about that part! Happy belated birthday!!

I mean they really were up a goal with 4 minutes to go smh. Nothing has been the same since

Imagine the final day if Tottenham pulls a draw out and it's all about GD for the trophy tho....that'd be top tier even if I'd be a whole wreck

I mean it’s better than wanting them to lose the last day but if there’s a team that could win 8-0 when you think you’re nice and safe 4-0, that’s them!

Trust me after we did the ol 5-0 on West Ham already this season the thought of that on the day is frightening but I'll take any chance at this point. THE MACHINE MUST BE STOPPED

Absolutely insane how one single game is pretty much deciding the league. Has there ever been an instance where two title rivals have played each other on one of the final match days before? Arsenal aren't involved but they're very much a part of it.
