U2 to release Passengers 'Original Soundtracks 1' 30th Anniversary 2 LP

The only thing I'm excited for, this RSD.

I do have an OG which is a single LP which sounds decent but for remastering and a bonus track I'll stand in line for far too long to spend far too much.

I wonder if this will be easy to get like all the other U2 RSD stuff.

Maybe. I've seen a few "RSD Firsts" that never seemed to get a wider release except for on streaming services.

I have an OG so won't be picking this release up. I really question how great the demand for this will be. I always see U2 RSD leftovers in the discount bin, but those have had a much greater release.

I can't even say for sure if I've listened to it in full more than 2 or 3 times.

Also, the average person has no idea Passengers is comprised of U2 and Eno. At least I didn't until I stumbled upon this album a few months ago. I imagine they will have a big hype sticker that says as much.

Exactly. It's listed as Passengers and the casual U2 fan would have no idea who they are, especially since there is a current singer that goes by the name Passenger. Agreed the hype sticker will indicate that it's U2 + Eno, but I still doubt that's enough to get a lot of people to buy it.

ETA: I was THRILLED when they performed Your Blue Room on 360 - most of the crowd left as they had no idea what was happening.

I can't even remember if I know it at the time when they played it but yeah, that was a great addition to the 360 tour. The 360 tour was way underrated. It was probably one of the most daring tours of their career as far as the setlists went.
