Movies

I love Pulse and Cure but haven’t seen any of his other stuff! Got any recommendations?
Seems @EvanBenner has a lot more experience than me in this area, as I've just recently started exploring his filmography (thanks to your Plex!). I have been itching to watch more though. Besides the two you mentioned and what I watched last night, the only other one I've seen is Loft, which is kind of hard to describe but it's essentially a more unique twist on a mummy movie. It's kind of offbeat tonally so it's not the sort of thing I'd recommend to everyone but I enjoyed it a lot.

You're spot-on about Loft. That's a weird one.

I'm constantly amused by Kurosawa's range. Bright Future is another noteworthy example of his penchant for the surreal.

He also did an oddball slasher film early on: The Guard from Underground. Nothing groundbreaking, but effective. (I snuck a view on Shudder UK via VPN.)

Finally gave this one a watch.
