Extremely embarrassing framing for the proposed change. I'm ok with banning the play but it would need to come with banning a push or pull from any offensive player at any position on the field.

I think it’s petty. There is nothing about the tush push that is unfair or any more dangerous than any other short yardage rushing play. If teams are worried about it, they should stop the offenses before they get close enough to run it.

Who do you guys hoping to get today?

For the Bears at 10 my hope is as follows

1) Trade into the top 3 to acquire Abdul Carter without sacrificing too much. This is a long shot and doesn’t seem likely

2) stay pat and hope Ashton Jeanty somehow falls into their lap at 10.

3) say pat and Hope Tyler Warren falls to them at 10.

4) grave one of the available Blue Chip OT

5) trade back and pick up a lesser edge or OT but also an extra pick.

What are you guys hoping for?

Titans need a QB bad so Ward seems a lock there, hoping that Luther Burden falls to 2nd round.
 
I just can’t believe the draft is actually in Green Bay. Also can’t believe how big the draft has become in the last couple decades. I think I mentioned this before but I grew up in GB and my dad worked for the Packers for 40 years. I basically grew up in Lambeau and went to damn near every home game from ~6-18 years old. Diehard fan but never thought the city could pull off a big event like this. Seems like things are going alright though! Plus the area around Lambeau has absolutely exploded in the past five years or so with the new Titletown District and other renovations. I just can’t think of a less exciting event to go to than a draft :LOL:

Anyway, the Pack need a dominant pass rusher, fast and big receiver, and corner. I’ll take anyone that fits there. It would be funny if they made some big moves too and filled one of those needs in a trade. We shall see!
 
Next year’s draft is in Pitt… we need to win a playoff game in my lifetime… anyway I’m hoping for a DT. We don’t need another round 1 WB bust. The Steelers are turning into the quarter back roulette of the Browns at this point….

As far as needs - just stock the O-Line and D-line. Skill positions and LB/CB/Safety positions are already fairly deep on this current roster.

Hopefully they can get another Bama boy, they are my second favorite team because they have so many guys from Alabama on their team, I love Gibbs.

Bears legend, Steve “Mongo” McMichael passed away yesterday.

During the introduction to the start of the draft they Goodell came out with some Packers players including Clay Matthews, who went off script and said he just got off the phone with President Trump and he a message for everyone here, then he opened a piece of paper that said “The Bears still suck”.

“The Bears Still Suck” is a common chant from Cheeseheads and to be honest, I wouldn’t have really minded if he didn’t bring Trump. The Bears-Packers rivalry is one of the best in all sports. It was just a shame that doofus had to bring Trump into it.

It reminded me a bit of Joey Bossa interrupting a post game interview with Brock Purdy to shout “Make America Great Again!” While wearing a MAGA hat.

Having family in Chicago and seeing da Bears play the Vikings in Wrigley Field in ‘64(?) I feel a connection with the Halas magic. I knew of the Bear great’s passing yesterday. Peabrain athletes never cease to disappoint but this is as low as you can go but right in line with the orange asshole’s despicable effect on this country. Sad.
