    Anybody here have any comments on Light in the Attic shipping packing? I always get a little apprehensive about companies who's policies don't cover cosmetic damage from shipping issues...

    Thanks y’all. I thought i heard once that they use those frustration free packaging mailers. Which ironically lead to the most damage (and frustration) for me...

    I've ordered a bunch of records from LITA and have never had any cosmetic damage.

    May be weird to say, but I've really learned to love selling on Discogs. People on there are generally a pleasure to deal with even when mistakes happen. Feels way more like a community than an ebay type site ever could.

    Just got messaged from a discogs buyer that a record I shipped him arrived literally folded in half with the record absolutely destroyed. Despite Fragile stickers and layers of cardboard on each side.....Thanks USPS

    After a couple of real stressful weeks at work, taking one of my unused days off so far this year to just listen to records, go through my collection and slim it down a bit (as well as recoup needed funds) by putting stuff on discogs. Very much needed.

    wynn72. Already sold 10 records today. Trying to put things up reasonably priced but also got to make back some of the overspending Ive done lol. If youre interested in anything and mention youre from the N+G board Im definitely willing to knock it down a few $$$ or do free shipping while I send everything else out.

    @Kris I still havent fully worked up the guts to do this yet. I shed some VMP exclusives, but with the exception of Beach House, havent really touched the tracks yet. The completeness of my Classics and RHH is making it tough, though I know it will be a weight off my shoulder when (if) I actually do it.

    Does anyone know where to buy the mailers Bullmoose uses? I thought maybe they were made in house until I got something from Merchnow in the exact type of box. They are by far my favorite mailers (more than whiplash), but I can't find anywhere to purchase them.

    Just want to give to give Bullmoose a quick shoutout for being one of the only places that consistently ships First Class instead of Media (with a low free shipping minimum too). My only packages never to get stuck in transit purgatory.

    First class has a weight limit that's usually less than a well-packed LP. Do you mean Priority?

    Couldnt be happier with my decision to scale back on VMP exclusives and use that money for more direct Artist and Bullmoose purchases this year. Except for having to explain the high increase in packages arriving to my door....

    same. took like 3 months for the FOMO to wear off, like quitting smoking, I got to the point where I was like why did I feel like I needed to spend 100 dollars a month for stuff I dont really care about released by a company that on a good day is incompetent and on a bad day purposefully deceptive. now my money goes directly to the artist.

    Cheers to Plaid Room and Bullmoose, still the only two places I’ve bought records online where I know everything will be packaged well and arrive undamaged.

    @tvham Youre right. Amoeba is mostly solid as well but I’ve surprisingly gotten a couple from them packed like the importCDs ones from Kentucky, which are hit of miss. Plus their prices can’t compete with BM or PR.

    My last order from Bullmoose, the Andrew WK exclusive, came with a massive seam split but they paid the shipping cost to return it and shipped the replacement priority.

    I guess that's your opinion. So is mine but I'm trying to avoid subjectivity by taking into account critical and public reception (since I'd also choose to listen to '7' over anything by Vampire Weekend any day).

    I guess we'll just end this agreeing that Grammys are trash and Lil Nas X forever. I hope he wins every award he deserves (so not AOTY).

    Critical reception is subjective opinions while chart placement is objective fact of public reception is my whole point. Objectively 7 has more hits than any other album that came out in 2019 and so I totally understand why it got the nom.

    I understand why it got the nom too, I just don't agree. '7' did not make a big impact on the charts like his singles did, It never even reached #1 even on release week. Again, your argument keeps being for the two singles. I do not agree at all that singles, no matter how big, should qualify an album for AOTY. You obviously don't agree so I guess Grammy voters are alot closer to your opinion than mine.
