Alrighty, my first targets for the new year, from 1980: Judas Priest - British Steel, Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables, Motorhead - Ace of Spades, and Talking Heads - Remain in Light. I have a feeling my 80s collection is gonna lean pretty solidly to the hard rock/metal
Killer Mike in the RHH track and the Essentials Kid Cudi in March both look good. But those albums aren’t even in my favorite top ...300?... albums, so I can’t justify the cost there. So for the first quarter of the year, it looks like I can focus on building my collection through the 80s! (The 70s was a success. Thanks to all you guys for your feedback and suggestions for that decade)

For the year 1979, I’m picking up The Clash - London Calling and Emmylou Harris - Blue Kentucky Girl.
I preordered the Gorillaz deluxe LP at site A, but a glitch (?) wouldn't let me input my shipping address (payment address worked fine). I emailed site A to make sure they had everything they needed for me to get my jamz, but I didn't hear anything back. So to ensure I got the album, I bought it from VMP too. Then I realized that the VMP edition doesn't have all the songs. Lesson? Don't shop on 4 hours of sleep.
I only have 8 albums originally released in the 80s. VMP released 4 of those. I have 24 albums from the 90s. VMP released 12 of those. I don’t know what that means, except I want more 80s stuff.
I was so proud of myself. I cut my VMP add-ons. I limited myself to three ‘78 records. Then I heard Nubya Garcia. My budget is now past blown.

The new Taylor Swift album isn’t bad. I wouldn’t say it’s great - I was bored by song 6 - but it’s not bad. -
