Moving all my records to a different room, it’s days like this I hate records! I’m also playing records and loving every minute of them, life is complicated!
On the one hand I'm telling myself to slow down my spending, on the other hand my local record shop is having a sale this weekend.... I think I know how this movie ends!
Today has the potential to be a very expensive record day... if my local comes through!!
My neighbor across the street is just PUMPING the band Live right now, I'm not sure I'm ready for the long weekend but they sure are!
Curb side pick-up is back!!! Government loosened restrictions on retail establishments, so if my local can get their shit together it's going to be a costly week!!
Ok who am I kidding, I'm not going to go nuts but it would be nice to grab a few things just to support my local record shop!
Watched the Beastie Boys documentary last night, so so so many feels! Makes me realize just how important the B-Boys music is to me and just how much they helped shape my tastes over the years! Highly recommended!!
My wife wants to go for a drive today to shake off some of her cabin fever so you know what that means, PLAYLIST TIME!!! Hopefully I can get through at least a few songs before I start skipping tracks.....as is tradition!
Who knew hearing Shy FX blasting out my car speakers at 8am was going to be a great way to start my day?
I'm also curious to know what my wife was playing at such high volume yesterday!
I have to drive my wife to the doctor's office today (non pandemic related) and I was so excited about going out to someplace other than work I got "dressed up".... This is my life now!

No matter how bad my day may or may not be I can always count on my local college radio station coming through with that sweet sweet soul music to start my day!!!

I can't complain when my commute starts with Portishead "We Carry On" as a lead in to my favorite part of my commute the Morning Soul Shake-up!!!
Going record shopping for the first time in a while, HYPED!! The results may be underwhelming but I do enjoy the hunt!! -
