Yeah, saw it in theaters. It was fine. One of those movies where you leave and say "that was fun" and then never really think about it again. For me at least, that's not really a bad thing. There is a place for those type of movies.
Isn’t Edge of Tomorrow the original title? Live Die Repeat was the tagline, and they briefly tried to retitle it with that for home video after it flopped in theaters.
From what i remember it was called Live. Die. Repeat. during early promo stage before they changed it to Edge Of Tomorrow. And thanks to @LeSamourai reminder of a third title, i'm not sure what i remember now lol
Yeah, the movie was never called that, I just like mentioning the title of the manga because it adds yet another layer to the weird name-changing.
Yeah, I was disappointed. Those who don’t have nostalgia for the first one may think it’s an improvement, but there was far less meaningful rumination in this one to warrant its existence IMO.
from what Wiki’s saying, Liman wanted to call it that after they decided to change from All You Need is Kill, but WB decided just to use it as the tagline.
I probably watched this 20+ times when it came out. Especially considering how small the budget was for this film, it's an incredible testament to what you can do with a good story and a cast that clicks.
