Angel’s sound was never angelic, just as Seraphim’s was never seraphic, but Du Pre’s playing is simply rapturous. Whether it’s raining or sunny, this record always makes me feel happy to be alive.

I don’t normally post here but needed to give praise to this record. I’ve had my eye out for this album for a while and finally picked it up at one of my locals recently. It wasn’t until later that I realized it was a bootleg. Which was surprising to me given just how damn good it sounds on my modest set up.

Seriously. I haven’t heard an official pressing but I can’t imagine it sounds better than this.
