4-year-old just asked me to turn off Nirvana two songs in so we can listen to Tool instead. I'm simultaneously disappointed and elated by this!
The 4-year-old's sass game is leveling up! We were browsing at the record store during errands this morning when I pulled out my phone to look up pressing info on something and heard the following moments later:
"Dad, did we come here to look at your phone, or did we come here to pick up a record?!"
I've managed to apply for 50 jobs in the last 48 hours, but still haven't managed to fold and put away Friday's laundry!
Just got my second jab! I hope my hair doesn't hurt tomorrow...

Just got my show link for Sunday night's Sun Ra Arkestra livestream for the Vancouver International Jazz Festival! I never thought I'd be so into a virtual concert, but it borders on unreasonable how excited I am for this.

Had a really cool dream this morning where, among other cool things, I got the job. Then woke up to a message saying I didn't get the job. What a roller coaster!

Hot diggity! I've got an interview at the boutique vinyl pressing broker by my place on Tuesday evening!!
So today, thanks to a job posting, I learned there is a boutique vinyl pressing broker a couple blocks up the road from me. Also, I applied. And have never wanted a job this much!

Just bought my first ever streaming concert ticket. I'm gonna be watching The Sun Ra Arkestra close out the Vancouver International Jazz Festival via live stream after the kiddo goes to bed on July 4th! -
