We don't have anywhere enough human members on at the same time to make that happen. I need to start recording our traffic and seeing if we get a spike in bots/crawlers or if a IP address(s) is pounding us with queries.

I have to do some investigation. While member traffic hasn't changed, I have been going through the server error logs this morning and have found that the database errors have been triggered by "too many connections". We have also had this error occur just over 1300 times over the last week.
